You have no idea what the people around you are dealing with. You don’t know that this person was up all night with a sick child or that this other person lost his dad yesterday. You don’t know who left their spouse a week ago or who just got a devastating diagnosis  this morning. It doesn’t cost anything to be nice, and you never know exactly who needs that right now, so smile at everyone and be nice!
