You teach people how to treat you, so be sure to set a good example and treat yourself nicely. So many people (and I include myself here) are so much harder on themselves than anyone else. Remember that you, too, are human, and are bound to make mistakes now and then. And remember that a mistake is just that, a mistake, and not a character flaw. Be nice to yourself.
