You can’t live someone else’s life for them. Everyone has to make their own choices, make their own mistakes, and live with their own consequences. And yes, you just have to let them. If someone has a lesson to learn, they are going to have to learn it. Sometimes the hardest thing in life is to just stand by and be as supportive as you can be.
