In his book Free Play, Stephen Nachmanovitch says, “The easiest way to do art is to dispense with success and failure altogether and just get on with it.” I think he has hit the nail on the head, not only for art, but for living life itself! What if we all gave up our fear of failing?  Or better yet, what if we just did way with the concept itself? A failure is really just something that didn’t go the way you planned it to. It seems to me that if we see it not as wrong or bad, but rather as another chance to gather more information, we’d be a lot less stressed and a lot better off. And something that was successful just went the way it was planned to.  Again, just another chance to gather information. So let’s just get on with it, this business of living life.
