Have a quiet space in your house where you can be alone and spend time thinking, or not thinking, or meditating, or crying, or whatever you want at the moment. It can be as big or small as feels right to you – a whole room, a corner of a room, or a garden. My retreat is my patio – I sometimes call it my Buddha garden. It is peaceful and quiet and beautiful – it works for me. What works for you?
