It is often said, “what ye seek, ye shall find.”

So when my toddler exclaimed with joy as we walked through the grocery store parking lot in the rain,  “Mama, it’s a beautiful day,” I took pause. I wanted to honor him and really appreciate this moment with him.

“Yes it is a beautiful day! A beautiful, rainy day,” I said, mirroring his enthusiasm.

With a tight snuggle into my shoulder, he said with certain happiness, “I love the rain.”

What ye seek, ye shall find…Enjoy the beauty in today (rain or shine)!
