Daily Bliss #20150330
It is easy to fall into a rut of false assumptions. It is easy to believe something just because you learned it that way when you were young, and things like that don’t change, do they? What isn’t always easy is really being honest with yourself – challenging your assumptions and beliefs with a critical brain. And yet it is important to do this. Things actually DO change sometimes, and if you are unwilling to bring them into the light of day and examine them once in a while, you could find yourself living with beliefs and assumptions that are no longer valid. Don’t get me wrong, I am not saying that just because a belief is old it is no longer valid. What I am saying is that just because a belief is old does not mean it is necessarily still true. Take your beliefs out for a little sunshine once in a while to confirm if they are still valid or not. And be honest with yourself.
