Do something for you

Take the time to do something for you. You spend most of the day doing for others: kids, family, friends, those less fortunate than you. Take some time for you. If you have the means and the time, take a week to be alone – at the ocean, the mountains, the lake, or wherever speaks to you.  Spend a weekend with your favorite people. If you don’t have the time, resources, or desire for that, take 5 minutes to sit in the sun. Take 15 minutes to do your crossword puzzle. Get up early and drink your tea in solitude before your day begins. Do something just for you.
