When someone has no time for me, that is okay. I understand that everyone is busy; everyone’s time is tight and precious. In the past I have been so busy that I have not had time for anyone; it happens to us all. However, please stop telling me that you are going to call, or we are going to get together “soon,” when we both know that it is not going to happen. You get to set your own priorities, and I get that sometimes they will not include me. We have been doing this dance for a long time, and I am done. I am not mad, I am just finally getting it. I would love to see you when you have time, and look forward to hearing from you then.
