FEELINGS

You don’t get over your feelings, you work through them. You sit with them, let them wash over you, get familiar with them, accept them, let them go, and move on. They may come back after you think you’ve dealt with them. They may hit you again when you least expect them. There is not a definitive amount of time this process takes; it may take a short time or a long time. Don’t let anyone else tell you enough time has passed and you should be over them. It takes what it takes.
