It is my job to take care of me, and so I will. It is not my job to make everyone else happy at the expense of my own happiness. I will help others, but I will no longer put myself and my feelings last. I no longer believe that it is my job to make anyone else happy, just as it is not anyone else’s job to make me happy. I am responsible for me.
