I look for joy in the simple things: a baby finding its toes for the first time, a toddler who learns that he can, indeed, do it, finding a dollar in the pocket of a pair of pants I haven’t worn for a while, a stranger who smiles at me on the bus, a beautiful sunset. There is much joy in the world if you look for it.
