I value your friendship
I know you can’t help me paint my house, or remodel my bathroom, or move. I would have relied on you for these things before, but those were never the reasons that you are my friend. You are my friend because you care about me; you know when to laugh with me and when to laugh at me. You listen to me talk through my confusion and my feelings. You are there for me. The fact that you are no longer able to help me with the physical stuff does not affect the deepness of our friendship. I value and appreciate your friendship.
