It is not hopeless as long as we have hope
It’s hard to resist the urge to crawl under your bed, put your fingers in your ears, and ignore all the crud going on in our country and the world. I beg you to fight that urge. Find a way to get involved, to make yourself heard, and to make this world a better place. If you can’t do it in a big way, then do it in a small way. Even an act as small as mowing your neighbor’s yard, or shoveling their driveway, helps to move us toward the light. By all means send prayers and good thoughts, but please don’t stop there; follow it up with actions, big or small. It is not hopeless as long as we have hope and act on it.
