It is what it is
It is what it is. I think I used to see these words as a way to ignore things, or a way to get out of doing things. Now I see these 5 little words as acceptance – acceptance of what is, and realizing that what used to be is no more. There are many reasons things change – you get sick, you get old, it doesn’t really matter why, things always change. And I am at a point in my life where it is important to accept this fact. Things are different than they used to be, but that doesn’t mean they are better or worse, just different. Sometimes you have to learn a new normal, and realize that the new normal may be different, but that doesn’t make it bad.
